Performing at SFJAZZ Miner auditorium has been a highlight of Thu’s career! She has had an incredible journey this season with Monday Night Band from singing her original song “Horizon of You” to scatting Jacob Collier’s melodica solo on “Isn’t She Lovely” to combining her vocal training in classical opera and jazz to pull off Matt Wong’s ambitious arrangement of “Black Is The Color Of My True Love’s Hair.” What a thrill it has been!

Here is some uplifting jazz, full of wonder and gratitude, for your pleasure. Pianist/composer/arranger Colin Hogan did an incredible job arranging Jacob Collier's version of Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" for Monday Night Band! Check out Thu’s sizzling solo!!

The artists broke through the fourth wall and engaged a captivated audience with their honesty and artistry. It was a memorable evening made more exquisite with delectable hors d’oevres and fine wine!
